Before and After Care

According to National PTA, the demand for high-quality, affordable before and after school care is high. More than 15 million school-age children who would participate in after-school programs do not have the opportunity to do so. Parents face issues of availability as well as cost (www.pta.org). Recent surveys found that 90% of Americans agree that there should be national commitment to making sure every child has some type of organized activity or place to go after school.

At NWCDC, we believe that the whole child must be served.  Our out-of-school programming provides activities for a child’s mind and body. From playground games to science project preparation to silent reading to fun snacks, the needs of the entire child is addressed.
