In order to promote good eating habits which will improve and maintain the health of children, all of our centers participate in the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP).  Administered by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), our infants and children are assured well balanced meals that supply necessary nutrients and help to influence attitudes about food. For more information about the Child and Adult Care Food Program, go to their website: www.fns.usda.gov/cnd/care.

Meals are also a time for to develop social skills.  As any school teacher can tell you, the ability to sit in a lunch room and socialize with peers in a positive manner can often be just as important as knowing the  alphabet.  Our teachers use this time to reinforce character lessons of community, respect for others, and citizenship.
