Tyna Hunter is the lead teacher of the Two’s and has been with NWCDC for five years. Though she has more than 20 years of experience, Ms. Tyna continues to improve her childcare expertise by taking early childhood education courses. Competent and compassionate, nurturing and enthusiastic, her parents and co-workers consider her an asset to the center.

Priscilla Houston has been with NWCDC for 12 years and now works with the 3 to 5 year olds.  As an assistant teacher, Ms. Priscilla shows initiative and never hesitates to accept new responsibilities.  Competent and capable, she frequently plans interesting activities and lessons for her class.  This master of the electric slide, enjoys cooking country comfort meals and traveling to the beach.

Courtney Massey-Allah has been with NWCDC for 2 years and is the lead teacher of the More At Four Program.  With over 20 years of teaching experience, Ms. Courtney is a valuable asset to Franciscan.  Her parents appreciate her caring through positive as well as productive instruction as she prepares the students for “Big School.”  A student at Salem College, Ms. Courtney is working on her Masters Degree in Education. She enjoys listening to good music in the company of good friends.


Saundra Scales has been with NWCDC for over 30 years.  Ms. Scales is the dynamic lead teacher in some very lucky 3-5 year olds.  Each week she finds ways to make each child’s education individualized and unique. Her classroom is always a hub of activity that the children look forward to joining in each day. Ms. Scales has completed her Child Care Credentials and her Early Childhood Education Certificate. Her positive attitude, team-oriented views, and helpful attitude make Ms. Scales an asset to Franciscan Child Development Center.


Joann Inzar has been with NWCDC for 10 years and is a lead teacher. She uses her skills and experience in many ways to assist the children in their learning process.  Ever the team player, Ms. Joann will be the extra pair of hands.  From teaching to serving meals, Ms. Joann will always do what needs to be done with grace.  Her good humor is evidenced by the way students light up whenever she enters a classroom.  Ms. Joann is an asset to the Franciscan school community. 

Ms. Addie Wagner is a cheerful, fun-loving, and pleasant person. She brings each of these traits to any classroom in which she is asked to work. Generally, she can be found with the two-year-olds or the infants. If you can measure her success by the smiles on the children’s faces, you know she is one in a million! Ms Addie helps improve the classroom to which she is assigned by sharing her ideas and knowledge. Her commitment to improving the lives of the children in her care is evident in her interactions with staff, students and families.
