MudPAC
The MudPies Parents Advisory Council (MudPAC) is composed of parents that serve as representatives from each classroom served in the center
Teacher of the Quarter -- This award is intended for teachers or staff that perform excellent works above and beyond their regular duties or relentless dedication and service to MudPies and our children with little or no recognition.
- MudPAC congratulates the Teacher of the Quarter for the 3rd quarter of 2006... Traci Edmond, Baby Bears.
Unsung Hero -- This award is intended for parents or office staff that perform excellent works, cool ideas, or relentless service for MudPies with little or no recognition.

MudPAC Mission and Objectives
To involve parents and ensure that MudPies remains a distinctive, premier, and safe preschool facility for our children and their teachers.
- Coordinate activities of the four MudPAC committees
- Provide a forum for discussing suggestions & potential problem resolutions for MudPies
- Give feedback to the MudPies staff through recognition & appreciation programs
Meetings
MudPAC meetings are held on the second Tuesday of the month (noon - 1:00 p.m.) from September to June in the Piedmont Room, 6th floor, GMAC Insurance. All parents welcome!
MudPAC Committees -- The MudPAC is comprised of four committees that address areas of interest to the committee and report any events/info to the Administration
Events
- Identify, plan and budget for special events for the school year
- Agree with the Events budget with the MudPies office personnel and Fundraising team
- Schedule, communicate, plan and execute events in coordination with MudPies office personnel
- Report plans and results each month at MudPAC meeting
Fundraising
- Review and agree to the fundraising goal for the school year
- Identify and recommend appropriate fundraising activities to support the events and special MudPies need budget
- Coordinate fundraising activities (timing, communication, set-up, conclusion, etc.)
- Communicate with parents regarding overall fundraising goals and expected levels of participation
- Report progress against goal each month at MudPAC meeting
Facilities
- Act as a liaison with parents concerned about facility mechanics and maintenance and to raise those concerns to the attention of the center director and/or MudPAC
- Assist MudPies office personnel in accessing facility needs and appropriate solutions
- Coordinate parent volunteer assistance in facility improvement efforts
- Maintain MudPies website
- Report plans and results each month at MudPAC meeting
Parent Involvement
- Identify goals for parental involvement for the school year
- Plan, communicate and track parental involvement against goals
- Report plans and results each month at MudPAC meeting
